You're handing us details about your child. Here is exactly what we do with them, in plain words.

Your child's details, any photo, and your email are erased automatically 90 days after we deliver. Ask sooner and we do it within seven.
Never sold, never trained on
We use what you tell us to make your book and nothing else. A reference photo is never uploaded to the AI tools.
We never see your card
Payment happens on our provider's own secure checkout. Your card number never touches anything we control.
Less than you'd expect
No surname, no address, no school, no date of birth. We don't ask for them and you shouldn't send them.

You're handing us details about your child. Here is exactly what we do with them, in plain words.
What we collect
When you order, we ask for:
- Your child's first name, age and pronouns
- How they look — hair, eyes, skin tone, a favourite outfit, a pet
- What the story should be about, and anything you'd like it to help with
- Your email address, so we can send you the finished book
- Optionally, a reference photo — only if you choose to send one
We never ask for your child's surname, address, school, or date of birth, and you shouldn't send them.
What we never see
Your card details. Payment is handled entirely by our payment provider on their own secure checkout. Your card number never touches anything we control and we could not see it if we wanted to. We are told only that a payment succeeded, for how much, and the email you gave at checkout.
What we do with it
We use it to make your book and your song, and for nothing else. We do not sell it. We do not share it with anyone except the services that make the order possible — our payment provider, our store platform, and our email provider for delivery.
We use AI tools to illustrate and compose, working from the written description you give us. If you send a reference photo, it is not uploaded to those tools. It is a colour and style reference for us, nothing more.
We do not use your details, or your child's, to train anything.
Where the photo lives
In private storage that is not reachable from the public web. It has no public address, it is never listed anywhere, and it can only be opened by us or by someone holding the private link from your confirmation email. It is never posted publicly and never used to advertise anything.
When we delete it
Ninety days after we deliver your order, we automatically delete your child's details, your reference photo and your email address. This runs on a schedule — it isn't something we have to remember to do. A second sweep clears anything older than six months regardless of its status, so nothing can be missed.
We keep a record of the transaction itself — order number, product, amount, date — because tax rules require it. That record contains nothing about your child.
Asking us to delete it sooner
Email us and we'll delete everything within seven days, no questions. If you ask before we've started work, you get a full refund with it. You can also ask for a copy of everything we hold about your order.
Cookies
This store runs on Shopify, which sets cookies that are necessary to make a shop work — keeping your cart, keeping you signed in, and preventing fraud. Our payment provider sets its own cookies at checkout to process payment and prevent fraud. We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels.
Children
This service is sold to adults. We don't knowingly collect anything directly from a child, and children don't have accounts here. Everything we hold about a child was given to us by their parent or guardian.
